David is the Chief Financial Officer for JMI. He joined his father and two brothers at JMI in 1997 and has since focused on a consistent client experience through the advancement of our quality systems and best-in-class professional development. David’s broad knowledge of the business has become an important enabler for JMI’s growth. David is a philanthropist and helped found the Jim & Barbara McKendry Family Foundation. This family foundation is rooted in faith, recognizing the profound value of strong family relationships and seeks to help those in need.
Doug is Vice President of Information Technology at JMI, responsible for the IT technologies that JMI uses to provide services to our employees, field operations, third parties, and clients. Doug joined JMI in a consulting capacity in 2017 and in 2018 as their VP, IT. Doug’s 40 year career has focused entirely on IT for P&C Insurance at both the carrier and vendor levels. Doug was the CIO for a super-regional insurance company and oversaw numerous initiatives including policy, billing, and claims implementation and served on a number of IT boards.
Jim holds the position of Vice President, Personal Lines Products. He joined JMI in 2014 and brings nearly 30 years of success in high net worth, personal lines underwriting, risk management and loss prevention. Jim’s experience working inside carrier organizations make him a solutions-focused leader, possessing a customer-focused attitude that effectively transfers client-centric skills to employees.
Mike holds the position of Director, Field Operations. He joined JMI in 2016 and is responsible for overseeing the JMI Field Operation Management team and through them our entire network of field inspectors across the United States. Mike brings more than 20 years of leadership expertise with the U.S. Marine Corps and Operations management. His knowledge working with geographically separated teams enables JMI to develop and maintain strong relationships with JMI's entire Field Operations Division to deliver unmatched service and insurance solutions to our valued clients.
Mike holds the position of Vice President, Sales and Business Development. Mike joined JMI in 2010 and since then has played an important role in the company’s growth. Mike has more than 30 years of industry experience, having worked for several different insurance carriers (national, regional, mutual and MGA). Mike’s range of experience helps him focus on each client’s specific needs. Mike’s client-side experience continues to propel JMI as a true, forward-thinking partner for our clients.
Nathan is the Chief Operations Officer and Chief Technology Officer and has more than 20 years of experience in leadership roles within the inspection services industry. Nathan has leveraged his technical and operational knowledge to proactively transform JMI’s operational functions to handle significant growth while maintaining high quality standards. Nathan’s client focus, understanding of the details of the business, and innovative spirit make him an important part of JMI’s commitment to provide solutions to clients and help them improve their bottom line.
Rene is responsible for servicing and supporting clients throughout their experience of working with JMI Reports. She creates value-added processes to deliver excellent and responsive service while also maintaining positive connections with JMI’s client partners. Rene joined JMI Reports in 2015 and brings more than 25 years of property and casualty insurance industry experience. She has a passion for listening to JMI’s client needs and uses her problem-solving skills to deliver solutions that contribute to their success. Rene believes in making a difference and finding the best resolution for in-house customers as well as outside the organization.
Rick holds the position of Vice President, Commercial Lines Products. He joined JMI in 2013 and is responsible for the product content and quality of JMI’s product lines. Rick’s nearly 35 years of experience spans many facets of the insurance industry. He has developed a proven reputation as a strong leader with clear vision and the ability to drive new product development. His vast experience working inside carrier organizations ensure that his efforts result in innovative solutions and products for JMI’s clients.
Ron is Vice President, Operations, and oversees field operations, quality assurance and professional development functions for JMI. He joined the team in 2015 and brings nearly 30 years of leadership experience having worked with the U.S. Air Force in operations, talent management, and strategic planning. Ron's expertise in working with large, geographically-separated teams enables JMI to create and sustain strong relationships with JMI's entire Field Operations Division to deliver unparalleled service and insurance solutions to our valued clients.
Steve holds two positions. As Chief Revenue Officer, he is responsible for sales, business development, client engagement, and product management. As Chief Administrative Officer, he is responsible for functions related to the overall effective operation of the company, including planning, partner relations, human resources, communications, and shared services through our internal resource center. Steve’s career includes a variety of experiences in technology, human resources, and founding a consulting firm that specialized in assisting middle market companies with growth. Steve’s broad experience is valuable given JMI’s commitment to growth while preserving its core values.
Tara is the Director of JMI’s Resource Center, responsible for project management and the Resource Team at JMI. Her role includes overseeing JMI’s project management function, data analysis support, process management and RFP coordination. Tara joined JMI in 2004 and has worked in quality assurance, client engagement and project management roles within the organization.
Tim is the President and Chief Executive Officer, responsible for the overall vision, growth, and performance of JMI. He joined his father and his brother Brian at JMI in 1994 and has since performed almost all of the jobs in the company, including working in the field, quality assurance, client relations, and many others. Tim played an instrumental role in developing JMI’s nationwide presence. His passion for relationships and commitment to values provide a great example to those inside and outside the company of the way JMI does business.
Brian serves as a Senior Advisor as he transitions into retirement while continuing to provide his expertise to the organization. He joined his father at JMI in 1988 and helped position the company for growth while preserving the values and service levels that have been the foundation for JMI since inception. Brian led the development of our proprietary web-based system, which allows us to provide customized analytical capability to our clients. Brian continues to be active in affairs that affect the entire Inspection Services industry and has served as past President of the Associated Reporting Companies.
